Job Summary

Principal Accountabilities

- Lead, manage and control security operations for the project/program in conformance with contract and customer requirements.
 - Lead, manage, and oversee Biometrics Automated Toolset System (BATS) Program.
 - Tailor and implement security procedures and operations security (OPSEC) in accordance with established military, government, and corporate policies, regulations, directives and operating procedures.
 - Manage, assign and project security staffing throughout the assigned area of operations (AOR).
 - Administer security department budget to include working with the site managers to ensure security positions are right-sized, overtime or excess hours used judiciously, and staffing levels at 100%.
 - Ensure, via security clearance office, project personnel possess the appropriate security clearance.
 - Investigate, report, and mitigate unsafe or unethical security practices.
 - Conduct direct liaison with the customer; attends briefings as required and disseminates information to personnel.
 - Liaison with all project subcontracted security companies.
 - Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
 
- Advanced knowledge of force protection planning.
 - Knowledge and experience conducting risk and vulnerability assessments.
 - Knowledge of Electronic Person Security Questionnaire (EPSQ)
 - Strong oral and written communication skills.
 - Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
 - Additional knowledge/skills may be required by assignment or contract and will be listed separately.
 
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Physical Security, Security Management, Criminal Justice, Antiterrorism/Force Protection, Business/Commerce, Political Science or related field.
 - Two (2) or more years’ relevant experience in a security field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
 - Completion of a Physical Security/Antiterrorism Force Course or equivalent.
 - Ten (10) or more years’ experience working in security environment. Prefer at least three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory role.
 - Past military experience preferred.
 - Additional experience/education may be required by assignment or contract and will be listed separately
 
- CONUS
 - Generally works in normal office environment, but may be required to travel domestically and internationally on short notice, to austere environments, under harsh living conditions
 - OCONUS:
 - Some positions will be assigned to overseas locations where living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous/harsh conditions
 
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
