Security Services Site Manager - Afghanistan

All candidates should be willing and able pass pre-deployment medical screening and should be willing and able to work in a high-threat environment under austere conditions.

NOTICE: Additionally, employment is based on, security clearance, background investigation, drug screening results, medical requirements, physical fitness, and system specific qualifications and experience levels.
Duty Location: OCONUS
Security clearance required: Active secret

Rotation: 8 hour shifts, 7 days per week with on-call or extended hours required (72 hours max/week) 344 days boots on ground/ 21 days of R& R
Required qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Proficient in the English language and able to read and write in English
  • Current U.S. issued passport and U. S. driver’s license
  • A minimum of 10 (ten) years military experience  in a security related service area (such as infantry, security forces, Special Forces, guard, MP.) or 10 years of police experience
  • Prior military must provide a copy of DD 214 (member 4 or service 2 copy) with a honorable discharge.  Former law enforcement must provide certification from an accredited law enforcement academy.
  • A minimum 3 (three) years of experience managing/supervising security guard operations
  • At least 1 (one) year experience living and working under austere conditions in a high threat area/active war zone
  • Must be able to pass a Physical Training test; run 1 ½ miles under 17:30 and complete 22 pushups and sit-ups within one minute for each event
  • Must weigh less than 300 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-deployment physical  (must be less than 40% body mass index)
  • Must be able to qualify on primary weapons; the M9 Glock (9mm), M4 (5.56mm), and the M240 medium machinegun
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the management and oversight of a 288 person security force
  • Responsible for technical performance of the contract in accordance with the contract Performance Work Statement
  • Management and technical execution of all security force responsibilities including support of the Base Defense Operations Plan
  • Ability to interface and communicate with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and other high ranking DOD and government officials
  • Manage and account for sensitive information and equipment
  • Manage and account for government furnished and contractor furnished mission-related equipment
