Overview:
Responsible for working with stakeholders across the organization to support and develop policies, strategic programs and processes associated with all security functions, which includes and not limited to risks and threats to employees and the business locations. This individual will conduct investigations, risk/threat management mitigation, personnel/executive protection, workplace violence prevention and assets protection. This position often faces difficult and complex risk related matters that require significant judgment and creativity to develop solutions and collaborate with business leaders for resolution in KSA. The candidate will also support and drive VA/AFSS security management framework for continued improvement and alignment within the organization and the VA/ AFSS strategy., The candidate will identify security events, threat vectors, and risks to AFSS and its organizational objectives and assess the likelihood and magnitude of impact, determine a response strategy, mitigation and monitoring progresses.

A.  Duties/responsibilities
1. Responsible for conducting site reviews, writing audit/review reports, reviewing findings, and making recommendations line management and /or their security coordinators.
2. Monitors and evaluates unit performance on key security issues and programs, recommends corrective action programs here appropriate.
3. Establishes/maintains robust customer relationship to ensure complete understanding of customer processes to enable the delivery of viable security responses.
4. Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation.
5. Maintains knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology and update management on risk and threat that could impact company business.
6. Responsible to perform Training information technology IAW local procedures
7. Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to line management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and to recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate.8. Perform other tasks as assigned.

B.  Independence: Follows instructions of the Aviation Director. Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:
A.  Education Level: Bachelors Degree or equivalent

B.  Experience: Minimum of 8year s experience in security related fields..

C.  Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Knowledgeable in working within local security procedures and codes. Ability to communicate in English.
Work safely and an ability to work well with others.

D.  Other: Able to follow instructions. Lift and carry 20 kilos
