Responsibilities:
PAE is a leading provider of integrated global
mission services to the U.S. Government and its allied partners. For
over fifty years, PAE has provided training, logistics, operations and
maintenance services to support complex missions for customers around
the world. PAE employs approximately 15,000 people in over 60 countries
supporting some of the most meaningful and exciting missions in the
world.
The Lead Trainer will:
- Instruct and supervise staff operations training for peacekeeping personnel at the company, battalion and brigade level.
- Train commanders and staff in Peace Support Operations (PSO) operations and procedural skills. Training will focus on operations center organization and operations, staff functions, intelligence preparation for the area of operations and the military decision making process.
- Develop POIs, lesson plans, and training support packages for collective training programs.
- Ensure all training scenarios are based on the most current mission information. Training will involve classroom instruction, PSO Command Post Exercises and Computer Assisted Command Post Exercises.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years military operations and training experience (or civilian equivalent) is required.
- Expert level knowledge in Combat Arms, Combat Service, or Combat Service Support U.S. Military Occupational Specialty, Branch, or Functional Area
- Staff experience at battalion, brigade, or Special Forces B Team level (or civilian equivalent) is required.
- A minimum of three to five years of increasingly responsible experience with standard military training concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Willingness and ability to live and work in remote and austere field environments is required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process to include background check and drug screen is required.
- Prior experience in working with AU and/or UN Peacekeeping Missions strongly preferred.
- Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to completion of college course work leading to an advanced degree, preferred.
- U.S. Military combat and/or PSO experience at 0-3, 0-4, 0-5, E-8, or E-9 (or civilian equivalent) level is preferred
- U.S. Military Education Level 3 or 4 (Command and General Staff College or equivalent) is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in French
