Job SummaryThe Lead Guard (ECP) Entry Control Point performs supervisory duties
related with the entry/access control to assigned facilities, protective patrols, perimeter security, and internal security of the facilities.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Responsible for both the perimeter and interior security of all facilities to include roving protective patrols for the facility.
  • Monitor and control local employees and visitors entering facilities.
  • Monitor and control incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
  • Ensure that proper searches are conducted.
  • Write & maintain a duty schedule
  • Ensure that proper logs are maintained.
  • Ensure proper training of subordinates.
  • Perform related administrative duties.
  • Other duties as assigned or as required for the mission.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with persons at all levels.
  • Knowledge of company’s security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct static security operations.
  • Technical and tactical proficiency with the various small arms used in support of company operations.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong managerial, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Proven ability to manage, prioritize, and complete multitasks in a timely manner.
  • Self- control and excellent customer service skills in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work in the field under rigorous conditions and possess excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to encourage team work and the capacity to implement team building through developmental counseling and periodic performance assessments.
  • Well versed in all applicable policies and procedures pertaining to ACAS Security Services.
Experience & Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Five (5) year’s or more years of Military or Law Enforcement experience with a preference toward Combat Arms and SWAT.
  • Experience preferred in one (1) or more of the following: Military Special Forces/Special Operations Assignments, Military Infantry/Combat Arms Service, Commercial executive protection services with military or police background, Law Enforcement experience (Military Police/Criminal Investigations Division; or an Emergency Services, SWAT type unit of a Law Enforcement Agency).
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
Travel
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
