Position Description Summary:
AEGIS LLC, a leading international provider of security services, is seeking qualified Security Inspectors. The Security Inspector will provide regular inspection of physical security for contract area of operations. The Security Inspector shall inspect all deliveries and vehicles up to Force Protection Condition (FPCON) Delta and IAW contract SOP for installation access. Inspection teams
may be sent to various contract locations to scan equipment and vehicles as directed. The Security Inspector will also meet all training and certification standards as designated by the manufacturer and validated by the COR for operation of this inspection machinery.
Minimum Qualifications:
US Citizen.
Required to be at least 21 years of age.
Must hold active DOD Secret Clearance -OR- must have the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
Three (3) years of civilian or military security guard or police experience, or military operational experience, within the past three (3) years prior to beginning duties under this contract.
Two (2) years providing investigative services in a federal, state, or military law enforcement position.
Able to lift 30 pounds or more.
Must pass medical examination to include vision and hearing tests.
Pass physical examination, meet U.S. Army height and weight standards, and pass physical fitness test.
