Job Profile
Salary: 
28,560 - 34,617 GBP per annum net. Net = take home pay. Oxfam will meet 
the tax and social security liabilities of post-holder in addition to 
net salary.

Purpose of Organisation

Purpose of Post
The post holder will have the opportunity to help 
strengthen Oxfam’s response to humanitarian emergencies by providing 
security management support to country and regional offices, including 
building security management capacity for the future. They will lead on 
security assessments, provide expert security advice, develop security 
management systems and provide security training to staff.
We are looking someone with significant practical 
experience of carrying out security assessments, and the planning and 
implementation of security procedures in the context of NGO or UN 
humanitarian operations. You should also have experience of delivering 
field based training and have very good spoken and written English and 
French language skills. You will need to be willing to be deployed 
anywhere in the world, at short notice, to offer security management 
support to Oxfam programmes.
