Job Introduction:
Following an integration programme between the G4S UK and Irish Secure Solutions businesses, we are seeking to immediately recruit a Managing Director for the Secure Solutions division of G4S business in Ireland. This is a critical leadership role with full P&L responsibility for the growth, profitability and quality of operational service delivery. The position will be responsible for
delivering the business plan objectives for the Republic of Ireland business and evolving the strategy of the business to drive future growth of revenue and profits. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business relationships and supporting new business sales, with overall operational responsibility for the delivery of the range of products and services (manned guarding, cleaning, patrol & response and property recovery whilst delivering on key financial targets.
The role will report to the SSUK Group Managing Director (circa £500m revenue).
This position will be responsible for the provision of a number of services including Manned Guarding, Cleaning, Patrol & Response and Property Recovery.
The role will have responsibility for a head office management and admin team of 100 and an operational team of 3000-4000 staff. They will have up to eight direct reports and own a business portfolio of €60M-70M.

Role Responsibility:
Lead the shaping of the market perception of G4S in Ireland
Develop the existing and future customer base to enhance position as the market leader in security solutions in Ireland
Organically grow the business by winning new contracts and bundling products to new and existing customers
Deliver the budget and execute the business plan objectives
Improve gross margin % of the business
Deliver to and meet all compliance and audit requirements
Maintain relationships with customers & keep appropriate systems updated
Develop immediate reports to be competent with the changes within our business
Identify and set stretching operational KPIs to deliver improved customer service levels
Ensure delivery on-going business integration and transformation activities

The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record at senior management level of consistent achievement against financial, operational and service delivery standards including:
Proven leadership skills and the ability to engage and inspire the business as a whole
Proven ability to set strategic direction and lead business to meet those objectives
Ability to recruit lead and motivate all direct reports
Experience in successfully leading a business through large scales change and transformation programmes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven sales ability across public and private sectors
Excellent presentation skills
At least 10 years of experience in a senior management role
Demonstrable experience in managing a P&L
A well-developed knowledge of the market environment within Ireland
