Job Description
Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a Deputy OPFOR Commander to join our team of professionals at Korea Battle Simulation Center (KBSC) located in Korea.
This position will be filled upon final contract award.
Responsibilities:
Provides support to the supervision of activities concerning the KBSC Opposing Forces Branch.
Assists with supervision and execution of the OPFOR simulation-driven exercises, campaign plans, and concepts of operations, for division and higher levels.
Provides facilitation for joint and combined theater level seminars and staff training exercises.
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Graduate.
Eight (8) years related work experience including:
One (1) year experience in short, mid, and long term planning and managing medium to large groups (50-500 persons) of military and civilian personnel within the past ten years.
One (1) year experience in the preparation of scenarios for joint and combined, simulation driven exercises within the past ten years.
One (1) year experience in conducting instruction for both large and small groups within the past ten years.
Two (2) years experience with computer war gaming techniques obtained within the past twenty years.
Basic Qualifications:
Honorable service as a commissioned officer in the US Armed Forces.
Previous command of US Army Combat organization at the battalion level or higher. Other service equivalent will be considered.
Extensive management capabilities.
Prior experience in the preparation of scenarios for US Joint and Combined, ROK, and US Army, simulation driven exercises.
Clearance Requirement:
Final DoD secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree.
Senior Service College Graduate.
