Instructor shall have the skills required to effectively conduct classroom instruction, demonstrate procedures, observe/evaluate student performance of hands-on tasks, and provide oral/written feedback to the student. Must have Special Operations Battalion experience and must have deployed as a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant or higher.

Plans, coordinates, and conducts training and related instructional programs for customer personnel.

1. Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
2. Coordinates logistics for instruction events, including scheduling classes, reserving classrooms, and preparing workstations.
3. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
4. May participate in the development and establishment of course content and objectives.
5. Updates course documentation as needed to ensure timeliness and relevance.
6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
7. Participates in special projects as required.

Associates Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience. Must be a graduate of the Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course or other acceptable military equivalent.

3-5 years of directly related experience in course instruction.

The instructor shall be knowledgeable in Special Forces tasks up to the battalion level. The instructor shall possess the skill to employs conventional and unconventional warfare tactics and techniques in the employment of individual domestic, foreign small arms, light and heavy crew served weapons, anti-aircraft and anti-armor weapons. Supervises and performs construction of hasty fortifications and controls execution of tactical conventional and unconventional operational employment and functioning of all types of U.S. light weapons (up to and including 50 cal MG), U.S. heavy weapons (up to and including the 4.2in and 120mm mortar and 106mm RR), man-portable air defense weapons and U.S. antiarmor weapons (including anti-tank missile systems), to perform tactical operations. Maintains proficiency with the employment and functions of all foreign high-density light and heavy weapons, man portable air defense and anti-armor weapons. Evaluates terrain, selects weapons emplacements, sites, and assigns targets and areas of fire. Reads, interprets, and prepares combat orders. Coordinates organic and supporting fire power, performs standard and non-standard air delivery, airborne operations, and air-ground operations; ensures collection and proper reporting of intelligence data to unit and staff sections. Reads and interprets maps and aerial photos and assists in area studies preparation. Plans, prepares and conducts briefings, briefbacks, and debriefings. See attachment 7.4, Albanian Weapons, for weapons with which this individual must be familiar. Must be knowledgeable on the current weapons being used by Special Forces in the CENTCOM AOR. Former instructor at USAJFKSWC 18B course preferred.

Assist in the preparation, development and presentation of a Program of Instruction to the Albanian Special Forces Battalion. The training course will consist of a 22-week program of instruction to the Albanian Army Special Forces Battalion that will focus on SF MOS core competencies and special skill training.

Experience in Foreign Internal Defense missions is required. Experience in civil affairs is a plus. Must be able to teach effectively in various environments (classroom and field) presenting SF MOS specific training. OEF/OIF experience is highly desired.

Must be able to pass the standard APFT at time of hire. Must be physically fit and able to participate in demanding field training to include ruck marches in excess of 20 miles. Must be able to wear the appropriate Army uniforms and meet grooming standards. Must be able to live in austere conditions in the Commando Regiment barracks.
