Our Risk Manager position provides you with an opportunity to work in direct support of the Director of Risk Management. Each day you will be responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative technical risk
assessments and managing treatment plans . Ideal candidate will possess the following traits:

Utilize Microsoft Excel at a intermediate level or better, effectively utilizing an excel based risk register and conducting data analysis

Ideal candidate will also possess previous experience in such areas as large engineering, procurement, and/or construction projects, DoD/DoE complex maintenance, FEMA support, plant operations (manufacturing/processing), city management, etc.; experience utilizing Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (Pertmaster) software; and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each risk manager assignment.

Our Risk Managers:
Establish and maintain task order risk registers
Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative risk assessments and analysis
Compile, summarize, and brief risk management reports
Provide risk management training
Perform subcontractor risk reviews
Travel to and work out of field sites
Review project management plans and develop risk management responses for those plans

Additional Information:
Position will require a CAC card and Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain); to meet this requirement only U.S. citizens can be considered
Successful background check, drug test, and physical are required for this role
Living conditions in Afghanistan are austere, will live and work in remote field locations


Basic Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years experience with project risk analysis and/or risk management.
Previous risk management experience can be drawn from one or more aspects: operational, execution/construction, security, financial, reputational, political, or health/safety
Formal risk management training and certification; PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification or equivalent (or ability to obtain within 6 months of assignment)
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience with Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (PertMaster) software, Six Sigma processes, performance based leadership, internal auditing processes, process flow/process analysis, and meeting facilitation are highly desirable
Knowledge of typical operations and maintenance trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, concrete/masonry, etc.)
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Risk Management or other related technical degree.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience with MS Word , Excel (intermediate ), PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
Previous work experience in the Middle East or Central Asia; Afghanistan specifically preferred


Degree Required : Bachelors or 4 Year Degree

Preferred Years of Experience : 5+
