Senior Armed Guard

Job Description:
The Senior Armed guard is a management/supervisory position and is responsible for maintaining operational compliance in response to contract specific task orders, company directives and program protocol. He/She must have leadership experience as previous shift supervisor in securing and maintaining designated site post or facility. The position will report to the designated program or project manager.
Reguirements:
Manage and staff posts during shifts and lead a team of Armed Guards as required. This includes scheduling of shifts and implementing operational protocol and safety policies as required. The Sr. Armed guard receives some directives from the designated project manager and implements the daily operational requirements and any special instruction as needed. He/She is responsible/accountable for maintaining and keeping proper records of all GFE /CFE materials, equipment and firearms and providing due reporting of inventory, personnel progress or incidents of interest and is required to report all findings for each shift period. The position requires scheduled and unscheduled patrols of all designated posts and monitoring of CCTV and other surveillance/perimeter security systems.
The Sr. Armed Guard will be responsible for all random inspections and due assessment of each Armed Guard performance, conduct and compliance and make due recommendations to the program/project manager as needed. The position requires a suitable candidate to be able to keep high morale while maintaining physical and mental health of the team.

Physical Requirements:
-Lift a minimum of 50 lbs with full gear.
-Austere and extreme environment
Other Requirements:
-Unexpired US Passport (6 month minimum)
-Willing to Travel as required
-Successful completion of the following: Physical fitness test, pre-employment background check, criminal record check, drug screen. Habitual misdemeanors will receive negative recommendations.
Education and Work Experience:
-High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
-Must have two (2) Years of TASS Controller Experience in the Armed Guard/Force Protection Industry Plus two ( + 2) Years of Armed Guard Experience, Or 2 Years of US Military Experience (Honorable Discharge) Or 2 Years of Law Enforcement Experience.
-Have previous weapons training with side arm, rifle & shotgun and be able to pass required proficiency tests or related certifications.
