MSS Security has an opportunity for a security professional with proven experience to fulfil the role of Security Manager for a city property for one of our high-profile clients. This site is a complex, high- security
building where our client relies on the organisational skills, confidentiality and people management abilities of the Security Manager to ensure the smooth running of the site. In addition, this role oversees two other sites in Sydney and Canberra.
As the Security Manager your primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
To oversee and manage the provision of security services at the site in line with SOPs and agreed service levels.
To oversee day to day work of MSS employees at the site.
Manage the operational client relationship to ensure optimal levels of service in line with contract requirements.
To be considered for the role you will require the following professional competencies:
3-5 years Security experience
Demonstrated supervisory experience in a similar role with direct reports of more than 5 employees
Experience in Control Room, BMS and Fire Panels
Customer Service
Current NSW Security Licence (1A) and with an (H)component highly regarded
Firearms Licence (Non-CIT) highly regarded or a willingness to obtain
You will also need to possess the following personal attributes:
Strong communication skills
Ability to find solutions to complex issues
Ability to lead and develop a strong team
Ability to prioritise
This position will work 50 hours per week - Monday to Friday 0700-1700, with flexible start and finish times to accommodate operational requirements.
The successful candidate will be offered an attractive salary + superannuation.
