Qualification
My client is a European manufacturing organisation, with a truly international footprint. They are now looking to add a Country Security Manager to manage their Indonesian operation, based from Jakarta.
Duties include
• Partner with the Country Functions Leadership Teams in territories (Commercial, P&S, R&D, L&G, SBS) to implement Assets, People, Product and Information security programs including securing the required resources to ensure an appropriate level of security for all functions across country
• Ensure consistent application of the security programs in-country, to mitigate security risks
• Monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness of security solutions
• Implement country security strategy by driving the functional activities of people in charge of security in the country (Site Security Officers, Information Security Officers, Anti-Counterfeiting Point-of-Contact).
• Lead the cultural change toward security to sustainably improve security behaviour in country
Responsibilities
• Link with the Territory or in her/his absence the Regional Security Manager to implement security programs in country
• Lead security risk assessments (Security 360°) implementation in the country
• Support sites within the country during the formal annual review process in accordance with the Security Letter of Assurance
• Manage the production and timely delivery of country security performance reports for Territory Compliance and Risk Management Committee meetings and use the reports to lead and facilitate discussions with country key stakeholders on security challenges and activities
• Observe and assess the security situation in the country and establish a proactive reporting process to inform Regional Security Managers of any emerging security threats
• Implement, supported by Corporate Security, an effective incident report management process
• Lead responses to incidents as they arise and related investigations in close collaboration with the Regional Security Manager
• Provide security advice and support for high-level event in the country
• Establish, implement and maintain an external stakeholder (law enforcement, security colleagues, business peers and association) strategy in collaboration with the Territory/Regional Security Manager
• Influence the country organization through proactive use of impactful risk-based-intelligence-led security communication to increase security performance
• Leverage, supported by Territory Security Manager, existing resources (i.e.: HSE) to ensure security sustainability
• Drive major security change and improvement in country by providing tactical security direction
• Demonstrate, document and provide assurance to stakeholders that the country has an effective security framework
• Address security risks arising at country level
• Manage projects and deliver on time with high stakeholder satisfaction
• Largely office based, although site visits are likely to be required (the nature and location of which will vary depending on the requirements of the country geography)
• Likely to participate in out-of-office conferences and networking opportunities
• Readiness for national travel
