Site Security Manager

The Position
Egroup Security is currently seeking a Full Time Professional Security Manager to work in a high profile Corporate Building in the Sydney CBD. The successful applicant needs to be self motivated and possess a passion for continuous improvement through relationship building and able to embrace progressive technology.

The Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead and develop a large team of Security Operatives toward a common goal of providing the most professional Security Services to our National client and their tenants.

The Security Manager is responsible for the entire day to day management of our staff and all related reporting activities, procedures, as well as overseeing with his team the management of all contractors and public visitors on site.

The Role
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate proven ability and experience within the following areas however not limited to;

• Show a high level of customer service with the ability to foster relationships at all levels.
• Managing a large security team on site 24/7, and reporting to all key stake holders.
• Hold a current NSW Security License.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar professional environment, preferably commercial buildings/environments.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the site at all times.
• Exceptional interpersonal people skills and proven effective communication.
• A positive approach and solution driven.
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in supervising and managing security teams.
• Vast Customer Service and conflict resolution experience.
• Possess strong computer skills and have a high level of understanding of the day to day systems required to monitor alarms, CCTV and proven experience with programming access requirements.
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge of the daily security operational requirements within a corporate environment, along with operational administration.
• Maintain accurate records for the purpose of producing operational reports.
• Demonstrate a previous knowledge and understanding of emergency procedures.
• The key to this role is continuously thinking strategically and developing strong relationships with our valued client.
