Salary Level 8: A$87K– A$99K per year (plus 17% employer superannuation and leave loading).

Facilities Management is one of the largest non-academic units at UNSW. We provide a range of services and advice to Faculties, Divisions and the University Executive Team by providing campus master planning, infrastructure planning, development, construction, refurbishment, maintenance and environmental and space management. We also provide a wide range of logistic and associated services to ensure a safe and secure campus environment. Our role is to plan, design, build, maintain and secure our campus. Security services provide a range of functions including, security risk management, operations, systems and emergency management.

Security Services is seeking an experienced, highly motivated security professional to fulfil the position of Security Operations Manager (Crime Prevention & Safety) based at the Kensington campus. The role of the Security Operations Manager (Crime Prevention & Safety) is to manage initiatives aimed at providing a safe environment for all staff, students, contractors and visitors to the University. This will be achieved through the day to day management of security operations, management of the outsourced guarding contract, planning security services for major events on campus, implementing crime prevention initiatives, and response and investigating emergency and critical incidents.
