DESCRIPTION:
A-T Solutions, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for experienced and qualified SOF instructors with significant field experience in military or civilian Counter-IED operations to fill a challenging and rewarding position. This position will be responsible for the training of Host Nation security forces on operational level instruction on IED awareness. Instructors will be armed and required to conduct extensive movement throughout the Afghan Theater of Operations. Instructors will travel to very remote locations and may be required to conduct training “outside of the wire” while providing team internal security.

Responsibilities:
Provide Partner Nation Forces w/ Special Operations Forces Training in order to conduct IED mitigation and site exploitation.
Provide instruction on current domestic and international terrorist threats and TTP’s to include: IED threats (e.g. remote controlled, command detonated, etc.); explosive hazards; homemade explosive (HME) hazards and the planning process to respond to an IED scene/incident.
Preparation and facilitation of practical hands-on familiarization training with specialized training devices, detection and identification equipment/methods and the theory and application of electronic countermeasures.
Contributing to curriculum improvements to course materials through continuous research, Intel gathering and training revision.
Maintaining knowledge base as a subject matter expert in assigned course content.
Performing set-up of practical IED problems for students incorporating command and control scenarios, booby trap house set up and drill scenarios during the Field Training Exercise.
Provide instruction on IED mitigation strategies.
Assisting the Team lead in conducting extensive real-time research based on current intelligence threats and incorporates into scenarios as requested by the customer.
Conducting IED research using tools such as SIPR, periodicals, journals, open source Internet, etc. to identify and interpret evolving threats and innovations in techniques, tactics and procedures within the C-IED and Counter-Terrorism communities.
Providing recommendation and inputs for development and manufacturing of current theatre exercise props as required for specialized training exercises.
Formulating and preparing draft and final versions of scenarios, incident descriptions, exercise plans, player/controller handbooks, and After Action Reports (AAR) for review and approval, while coordinating exercise requirements with unit commanders and other senior program management personnel.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Extensive technical knowledge regarding IED components, construction and functionality
Excellent technical knowledge regarding IED recognition and reaction to include enemy IED attack tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP).
Knowledge of Specialized C-IED Enablers.
Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver complicated curriculum to a wide variety of audiences.
Experience in the planning and development of training curriculum.
Required a hands on approach with a determined can do attitude.
Experience training/supporting/partnering w/ foreign military or security forces preferred.

Education and Experience:
US Military Special Operations background
Overseas operational experience in Iraq/Afghanistan
Previous experience instructing via an interpreter preferred.
Previous experience working with Host Nation forces/local nationals required
Formal military instructor certification highly preferred
Minimum ten years experience
