Job Summary:
As a member of the Cubic Team – Romania Land Forces, you are a senior, high-energy, military training Subject Matter Expert (SME) that is fully knowledgeable across the full spectrum of planning, coordinating and executing training programs at a combat training center. Your knowledge and experience involves live, constructive, gaming, virtual, and live-fire training domains. You will work closely with the Chief, Land Forces Combat Training Center and his operations group staff, IAW the guidance and direction from the Program Manager – Romania, to assist Land Forces in the development comprehensive and modernized combat training center training programs, and provide recommendations involving all accompanying training support systems.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.- Knowledge and experience with planning and execution of live and instrumented training that includes integrated constructive simulations and live-fire training exercises.
- Knowledge and experience in the operation of combat training centers (CTC) – to include CTC organizations, personnel management, professional developmentand training programs, scenario development, operational planning, instrumentation systems, training aids/devices, logistical operations, and all related support programs.
- Proficiency in developing new training models and strategies, related detailed training plans, and associated programs of instruction with training support packages.
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a multinational training environment.
- Understand and accept host nation military values and cultural differences.
- Knowledge and experience to develop relevant and well-designed training plans and scenarios for the conduct of platoon, company-team, battalion task force, and brigade combat team live-constructive training exercises.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Battalion level command is mandatory; brigade / regimental level command is highly desirable.- Former training position in a US Army (NTC / JRTC / JMRC) combat training center is mandatory.
- Senior Service College (SSC) graduation is desirable.
- Masters and/or PhD level of formal education is desirable.
- Pentagon and/or General Staff level staff experience is desirable.
- Resource management / budget experience is desirable.
- Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to Secret level classified information.
