Role Overview The Site Security Officer provides security, site access control services and assistance to the assigned project and jobsite activities. This person will assist in the implementation of the security programs which are integrated with the project construction activities, develop an effective working relationship with assigned project personnel, and advise Security Supervisor concerning security programs progress, problem areas and remedial actions. This person will be required to do night/day shift at the camp facility.

Additional Information The Site Control Officer shall be knowledgeable and/or have skills in:
• Implementing Bechtel Security & Site Access Control systems.
• Bechtel industrial relations systems, sensitivities, risk potential.
• Being privy to certain Bechtel confidential information will remain confidential.
• Bechtel safety induction systems.
• Capable of managing conflict situations.
• Skill in verbal and written communications. Capable of obtaining security clearances.
• Public relations and communication skills are essential.
• Current driver’s license is essential.
• Current Security license is essential.

Monitor, Control and Audit short term inductions.

• Be willing to do further training and course to enhance their role within this position

Extensive experience in a similar role required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of administrative functions, including contractual functions.
Ability to develop and analyse information for studies and reports.
Good typing and computer skills
