Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Certificate.
In-house training on standard Company procedures and Security Procedures concerning Industrial Security, use of Security devices and all relevant equipment.
Minimum Experience:
4 years’ experience as a Security Guard for a large industrial organisation.
Prior exposure to the use of security devices and equipment.
Job Specific:
Detailed knowledge of emergency incident procedures.
Skills in fire fighting according to levels defined within Marafiq fire incident policy and procedures.
Detailed knowledge of all Marafiq site access procedures and instructions.
Sound understanding of the physical layout of all relevant Marafiq sites and facilities.
The job holder works under the guidance and close supervision of the Supervisor, Security Shift. The job of Security Man is important in the context of the general increasingly uncertain conditions, which pose potential threats to the security of public utilities. The Security Man needs to be continuously on watch for security threats and incidents that could adversely affect a critical public utility service. The need for well trained and skilled security staff is thus underlined.
