Daily Responsibilities
At GTMO, supporting the Office of Military Commissions. Performs a wide variety of clerical and security related duties. Sends, receives, and processes confidential and classified materials. Obtains security clearance on employees; controls employee identification cards and records; and arranges visit authorizations for employees and others to gain access to restricted areas. May administers and coordinates the industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Monitors security procedures, and ensures compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical, and administrative security systems and procedures. Participates in the development of and conducts security education programs. Investigates losses and security violations; may recommend corrective action. May act as liaison with outside agencies and keep upper management informed of all security activities. Under the direct supervision of Government Security Management, may provide some daily supervision and administration of the protection force; and conducts surveys, inspections, audits, and investigations. May manage aspects of the industrial security program and other security activities, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. May work with government lead to ensures that security staff is trained and adheres to the policies and procedures outlined in the Protection Manual. May be involved in time management and scheduling. May reviews and investigate non-compliance issues.
Required: Basic Qualifications Security management training and experience. Liaison and basic office management experience.
