ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mobile Training Team (MTT) Instructor position includes force preparation, operational readiness and all associated operational tasks across a variety of roles. While not exhaustive, the individual will at a minimum, conduct the following roles and tasks: assist the MTT Senior Instructor (SI) on all aspects of Mobile Training Team delivery; advise the SI and assist him with the planning and execution of all MTT tasks; prepare MTT periods of instruction as required by the school training department; deliver and instruct all aspects of Operational Readiness training, focused heavily on live fire and battle inoculation training, medical and communications training and operations in joint and coalition environments; mentor and develop local officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) in the coordination and delivery of MTT training and provide feedback on their performance and potential to the MTT SI, and coordinate, manage and mentor the Third Country Nationals (TCNs) or local MTT instructors in the performance of their duties
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
The candidate must be a fluent English speaker. Candidates will possess the skills and experience to teach Infantry tactics, and perform duties as Range and Field Firing OIC; possess substantive E7 – E8, W1 – W2, O2 – O3, or equivalent responsibility in a security related role and possess a certified Instructor qualification.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The preferred candidate will possess experience in a Support Company (Mortar, Communications or Reconnaissance); specialist qualifications in one of the following: Medical, Communications or Demolitions; experience to be able to perform duties as Heavy Weapons and High Explosives Range OIC; and Project Management certification and training.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates will possess experience in Infantry Team / Section Leader or Platoon SGT duties (or Security related equivalent) plus Infantry Battalion level training experience (or Security related equivalent); operational experience in an Infantry / Combat Role within a coalition environment (within five years) is also essential. Possess Detachment Command / Platoon SGT / Company SGM Experience within a combat role in a coalition environment; exposure to HQ planning and operations, and an assignment to a Recruit, Basic or Infantry Training School as an instructor. Experience working with foreign nations; specifically within an Arab culture (desired).
