Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of physical security, administering, planning and organizing the team of security personnel and accountable for protecting the security and safety of its property, employees and guests.
Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to Management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and to recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate.
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation.
Responsibilities also includes risk management assessments, ensuring compliance with local law guidelines regarding emergency and security, liaise with local law enforcement to assist investigations of accidents, thefts and property loss.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years experience, preferably in hotel industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proactive, team player and attentive to details.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly disciplined.
Firm and tactful when dealing with guests/employees.
Close liaison with relevant authorities including the Police and Bomba.
Ex-military/Police Officers or experience in Security/Armed Forces/Protective Services is an added advantage.
