TAC is seeking Law Enforcement Training Instructors to assist a Federal Agency supporting law enforcement training abroad. Qualified individuals will have experience in international law enforcement/training and will be fully capable of providing services related to tactical training, curriculum development, and customized technical assistance in support of the mission requirements set forth by a Federal Government contract.
Critical functions may include, but are not limited to:
Delivering training at various venues abroad identified by the Government agency
Developing, rewriting, and/or revising curriculum, course materials, and language sevices for any training related requirement
Providing services related to the agency’s courses, special programs, advanced consultations, assessments, reviews, and capability-building activities
Adjusting to changing agency needs based on current international and political circumstances, technologies, and law enforcement emphasis
Mandatory Requirements:
A commitment to teaching schedules up to one year in advance, with the ability to provide services for up to a 5-week period
Past experience in law enforcement & instructor-led training
Must have Spanish language capabilities – excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possession of valid U.S. Passport
Up-to-date medical records (clean bill of health)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to pass a background check for disciplinary, criminal and credit issues
Excellent health and ability to pass a physical, and psychological evaluation
Preferred Skills and Experience in at least one of the following areas:
Tactical training experience in:
crisis response teams,
background investigations,
basic police investigative methods,
defensive driving
Technical assistance experience in:
weapons,
intelligence,
polygraphs
