Package Description: The Regional Manager for Banks and RLW will interact with clients in all country and will have the majority of Banks operating in Mozambique as clients and the National RLW company. Will be based in Maputo but must have mobility to travel.

Role Responsibility:

Initiate cost saving model and controls
Direct Wage control / ER management

Effective Organization
Staff turnover analysis, proper allocation of staff to positions and structure as agreed with client

Effective labour management including rosters, shift patterns and promotions according to company policies and procedures
Support his Direct Reports in organizing their monthly and weekly duties

Client retention and customer service levels
Have monthly meetings with his Top 10 clients, meetings must be scheduled, attended and minuted;
Visit monthly 15 sites to assess effectiveness of site procedure implementation, identifying training needs and procedural improvements;
Maintenance of client relationship and ensuring client retention
Support and Cooperate with Quality Team in matter of its competence and ensure that direct reports also cooperate.



Ops Process management – adherence to quality standard
Ensuring that claims against the Company are prevented or minimized;
Make a follow-up of all claims and occurrences;
Ensure that the Operations Manual is followed
Liaison with regards to invoicing, accuracy of such and securing payment
Implement a proper management system to ensure the best use of company resources
Conduct risk assessment for his Top 35 clients and ensure that his direct reports conduct for other costumers;
Ensure that all company assets are proper registered



New business development
Identifying new business opportunities in the region’s sphere of operations, as well as in terms of growth of business with existing customers, driven by the promotion of integrated security solutions.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the competitor environment faced by the region.



The Ideal Candidate:
Commercial Security Management experience.
A minimum of 5 years in operational management experience in Mozambique/Africa.
Experience in the training and management of diverse personnel.
High standard of education and demonstrable personal development.
Portuguese language ability is mandatory
Project Management qualifications are desirable
Military or Commercial Training experience
Proved experience working in Banking Security
