Job Summary:
Defense – Internal Security – Emergency Management – Safety Team Lead and Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for managing a diverse cell of analysts and subject matter experts tasked to collect relevant education and training data as part of an overall effort that includes four Operational Focus areas: Safety, Security, Defense, and Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Planning (SSDEC). The Defense – Internal Security – Emergency Management – Safety Team Leader directs and carries out analyses that enable the customer to develop Centers of Excellence for delivering accredited training courses and programs to multi-Agency personnel. This effort is guided by an approved project plan and undertaken largely in the Middle East. You are required to produce deliverables that are consistent with the overall project design. Deliverables are written (print and digital) reports and verbal presentations which document the current state of assessed data and recommendations for efficiencies and improvements. Essential Functions:
Team leader and senior Subject Matter Expert of an SME/Analyst cell capable of defining education and training data collected for the development of a comprehensive and highly structured database
Team leader and senior Subject Matter Expert of an SME/Analyst cell capable of analyzing education and training data and providing recommendations in a responsive manner to the customer
Confer with customer executive management using industry expertise to define the Customer’s strategic objectives and advise on processes to meet these goals
Assist Customer in developing strategic plans and concepts
Supervise the preparation of analysis for policy development and training methodologies
Supervise the collection of education and training data from the Agencies using approved security processes and protocols
Review and approve deliverables – reports, studies, and related documentation

Qualifications Requirements: You qualify as a Defense – Internal Security – Emergency Management – Safety Team Lead/ Senior SME – if you possess either a Master’s Degree or 7-10 years of specialized training and/or experience including:
Superior knowledge and expertise in the particular subject matter area to which assigned
Demonstrated executive leadership and managerial skills
Extensive history and demonstrated performance in Government Interagency roles / operations
Strategic knowledge and expertise in SSDEC operational and tactical focus
Superb interpersonal and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to conduct high level briefings and presentations
Substantial past work history in the Middle East
Possess in-depth knowledge of Arab / Middle Eastern culture and socio-political customs
Possess active US Secret or higher security clearance (or its equivalent)
Possess a valid US or country of origin Passport

Education and/or Experience:
Master’s Degree and 7-10 years of specialized training and/or Government Interagency experience
Joint Intelligence Requirements Certification
Based on education, experience and skill level, the Candidate must possess demonstrated knowledge and/or proven performance in one or more of the following tactical focus areas related to Defense: International peacekeeping; Joint-agency intelligence management; Coordinated approaches to national defense; Use of military forces to prevent piracy; and/or Leadership studies at operational command levels
At a minimum, Candidate must have experience working in the field of Military Staff Development and Training including: Policy, institutional planning, and organizational procedures; Board governance and government relations; Quality Assurance and program evaluation; and/or Community engagement and industry liaison
