Job Description
TigerSwan, Inc.’s Weapons & Tactical Instructors will conduct weapons and tactical training for military, law enforcement and civilian clients. Training is conducted at the TSTCC and with Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) across the US. Candidates will be required to complete a selection process and a follow on introductory training period. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teach pistol, carbine and tactical courses
• Teach Executive Protection Courses and customized training courses
• Conduct business development by engaging potential customers and clients
• Develop and update course curriculum
Conduct mobile training at various locations
• Responsible for safety of students
• Perform other duties as assigned or required
• Understand clients’ needs
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clientsQualifications:
• Eight years of practical experience in U.S. Army Special Operations is required
• Recent deployment experience to OIF or OEF in a Special Operations/Mission Unit within the last 3 years
• Must be experienced in instructional techniques and Program of Instruction (POI) development
• Demonstrated expertise with small arms
• Experience teaching marksmanship and tactical training
• Strong public speaking skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
• Must be able to access military installations

Desired, but not required:
• Active Secret security clearance or higher

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Weapons and Tactics Instructor’s job.
While performing the responsibilities within the scope of the Weapons and Tactic Instructor’s job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness and maintain a military-like appearance. The employee should be able to work long hours and must possess the ability to run stress shoots in full combat gear. The employee should be able to engage in active presentations, to include color briefs. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee may be called upon to lift packages and/or parcels up to 50 pounds.
Employee must be able to work and qualify on weaponry. Must possess and maintain advanced marksmanship techniques.
Employee will frequently work outside, to include working in inclement weather when required including heat, cold and humidity. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by established by the Company’s safety standards.
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Some weekend work required when teaching classes.

Travel: 25%-50%.
