LG4 Security Specialist
Perform all duties as a Badge and Screening Specialist utilizing Biometric Automated Toolset equipment at a Force Protection Screening Cell (FPCS) in Afghanistan. Work hour requirements are twelve (12) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
Principal Accountabilities:
Perform biometric collection and data entry functions into a central database for:
A. Fingerprints
B. Iris Scans
C. Facial Images
D. Personal Data
Produce identification cards for Host Country Nationals for employment by the U.S. Government utilizing government provided badge equipment
Review biometrics documentation to ensure accuracy of information.
Perform quality checks and cross checks as required to further ensure accuracy of data.
Assists customers with routine questions during the badge process.
Perform reception and other administrative duties required to complete the mission.
Perform in a fast paced austere environment.
Assist in compiling statistics and preparing required reports.
Perform screening functions at an Entry Control Point (ECP) utilizing portable screening equipment.
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills:
Demons trate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment for extended periods of time during high threat situations
Physical Requirements:
Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable. Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions. Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
Experience:
A minimum two (2) years experience in a military tactical/operational environment.
Education:
Bachelors degree in an associated discipline preferred. Two (2) years in related field can be substituted for each year of the two (2) years of college.
