Job Description
Harrods is known worldwide for its unrivalled range of luxury products, exceptional service and sensational staff. Are you the person to protect not only the product but the 5000 staff and 30000 peak time daily visitors to Harrods?.
With hands on experience in all aspects of security, from working in a control room, report writing to emergency planning and the operational executions of events similar to our famous Christmas Parade or celebrity product launches you will be able to work with others outside of your direct reporting line and take control of events and manage any serious incident within the store.
A natural leader with unquestionable integrity you will be assertive and bring the team together to develop a sense of identity and motivate them to achieve not only personal but departmental success. You will do this through driving innovation in policy and practice and an innate ability to expect the unexpected. In addition you will be providing visible leadership from the front so you will relish the opportunity to spend time working alongside your team patrolling , improving the customer experience, using arrest and restraint techniques as required, and coaching your team to achieve personal development.
This role is not just an Ambassador for the department but for Harrods as a whole and therefore you will be comfortable having lots of contact with the public and will build relationships with customers, suppliers and our neighbours.
