Job Description
The position will include maintaining, analyzing and suggesting improvements to existing personnel recovery policies and procedures, conducting inter-agency coordination, and providing training to deployed client personnel that could potentially be isolated from other friendly personnel or detained by terrorists or criminal elements while deploying OCONUS. The PR Operations and Intelligence Specialist will also provide intelligence support and recommend courses of action required to ensure client personnel are incorporated into existing PR infrastructures within other government agencies.Responsibilties will include but are not limited to:
- Project management of specific PR functions in support of the client PR Unit.
– Consult on the development and enhancements of the existing client PR program and architecture.
– Assist in drafting Memorandums of Agreement between the client and inter-agency counterparts for Personnel Recovery.
– Assist in performing PR risk assessment for client personnel that are deployed to critical and high threat countries.
– Assist in drafting and revision of client PR policies.
– Provide PR training to selected personnel as directed by the client.
– Make recommendations for the development and revisions of PR training programs for client personnel.
– Make recommendations for development and refinement of reintegration procedures and provide recommendations for program enhancements.
– Assist client personnel in establishing and maintaining liaison with external US government agencies.
– Travel and consult on personnel recovery operations globally, based upon the situation and as determined by the client.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years experience in law enforcement, or military operations and intelligence disciplines with a minimum of five years experience in Joint or Interagency assignments.
- 5 years experience in Interagency Personnel Recovery functional areas.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following PR functions; Intelligence Support to PR, Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), Evasion and Recovery (E&R), Evasion and Escape (E&E), Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape (SERE), Unconventional assisted Recovery (UAR).
- Proficient with MS Office applications.
- Documented platform instructor experience, to include instructor certification.
- Military SERE Level-C course or equivalent interagency PR/SERE course desired.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Preferred experience with non-military Federal Government personnel or previous assignments or experience with Federal law enforcement organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, although PR experience may substitute.
- Active Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain SCI.
- Continued employment in this position requires passing a Counterintelligence polygraph.
