Position Description
USIS has immediate and ongoing openings for an experienced Intelligence Analyst to support one of our DoD Clients. This position is for a 1 year deployment in Afghanistan.
**This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Candidates who do not currently hold this level of clearance will not be considered.

Project Overview:
USIS is part of a team of government contractors that supports the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) or United States Force-Afghanistan (USFOR-A) with intelligence operations support. Our team will support ISAF/USFOR-A by aiding in the coordination, planning and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies in the Combined Joint Operating Area – Afghanistan (CJOA-A).

Job Responsibilities:
Tactical Intelligence Analyst:
· Functions as a part of a general military intelligence analytical team at Brigade Combat Team, Regional Command or ISAF Joint Command or equivalent in support of S-2/G-2/J-2 analytical requirements.
· The Tactical Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analysis, reporting, data-basing and dissemination of Human Terrain Analysis, preparation of provincial and district assessments, High Value Individual Targeting products, Extremist and Regional Threat Nodal Analysis, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield products, and 24/7 Indications and Warning Analysis focused on Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices, Insurgent Intimidation Tactics and all-source exploitation of captured materials and documents.
· A minimum of one year of use of Analyst Notebook (ANB) or of DCGS-A (Distributed Common Ground System – Army) is required, but may be waived if candidate has equivalent ADP research skills.

Tactical/Operational Intelligence Analyst:
· Functions as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of CJ2 analytical requirements.
· The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analysis, reporting, databasing and dissemination of Afghanistan measures of stability which include security, governance and development,
· Responsible for Human Terrain Analysis, preparation of provincial and district assessments, Campaign and Mission Analysis briefings and annexes, High Value Individual Targeting products, Extremist and Regional Threat Network Nodal Analysis,
· Will produce Preparation of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Assessment Metrics which include daily IMINT, SIGINT and HUMINT products to gauge the effectiveness of collection operations, 24/7 Indications & Warning withstanding and all-source exploitation of documents and media from detainees.
· This position is mid level analyst.
· The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for researching, developing, presenting and publishing all-source intelligence products at the tactical, operational and strategic level related to Military actions, insurgent activities, economic and political activities, and threats to regional stability as part of an overall analytical team.
· This position provides input to multiple Government requirements and objectives, assist with the analysis and production of various intelligence products, and supply analytical support for senior Military leaders.
· The Intelligence Analyst shall attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on current events and long-term trends that could impact the Government’s mission.
· This position is responsible for intelligence analysis related to counter-terrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, counterintelligence, Afghanistan and South West Asia regional issues, political/military analysis and support to targeting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Tactical Intelligence Analyst:
This position requires a minimum of 4 years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational level experience preferred.
Experience in either CT, Afghanistan, South West Asia regional issues and HUMINT or political/military analysis desired.
Associate’s Degree, – Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
The contractor shall be proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
The contractor shall possess strong research and writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of a strategic level analytical team in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. This position requires former MOS 1N, 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A or equivalent.
This position requires Top Secret/SCI clearance

Experience in either CT, Afghanistan, South West Asia regional issues and HUMINT or political/military analysis desired.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree. (experience may possibly allow waiver)
The contractor shall be proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
The contractor shall possess strong research and writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of a strategic level analytical team in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. This position requires former MOS 1N, 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A or equivalent.
This position requires Top Secret/SCI clearance
