Northrop Grumman Technical Services in Herndon, VA is looking for a Division Security Manager who will work as part of the Technical Services Security in a fast-paced, demanding environment providing top notch customer service to a number of International and Domestic locations. Responsible for:
• Coordination and management of security support
• Ensures compliance with company and government requirements.
• Supports proposal and RFP activities.
• Supports development and standup of security operations for new programs.
• Prepares security plans and interprets policy and directives.
• Issuance of Security Guidance to sub contractors.
• Staff Management and development activities
• Assists in oversight/correction of compliance security issues
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Education: BS with 8 years of job related experience desired. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Required Skills:
Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance
Six years of experience with NISPOM, DCID, or other DoD related Security Directives, an overall understanding of all areas of the National Industrial Security Program. Four years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated experience in developing complex security/risk management programs
Demonstrated experience in supporting complex proposals
Candidate must be able to communicate effectively both in person and in writing.
Two years of budgetary experience
The applicant must possess strong organizational skills and have a positive, problem-solving attitude and be able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Must be able to analyze problems and establish goals to complete objectives set forth by management.
