CH2M HILL Security Program Support Specialist - Abu Dhabi, UAE

The challenge? Help provide long-term, safe energy solution for a fast-growing population by collaborating with the international community to build a clean, environmentally friendly, civil nuclear power program for the United Arab Emirates. Each day, the Security Program Support Specialist will provide technical support in areas related to the development, implementation, and coordination of Safeguards and Security activities defined in applicable regulatory requirements. The desired candidate will have at least 10 years of work experience with prior experience designing or managing nuclear security systems and the desire to grow personally and professionally with each new task.

Our Security Program Support Specialists:

Provide technical support to physical security elements.
Provide technical guidance related to vulnerability analyses and security system design criteria.
Develop audit and assessment schedules, conduct audits, and generate reports, as appropriate.
Manage condition reports and corrective actions.
Provide mentoring in the areas of safeguards and security to present and future ENEC security staff.
Provide adjunct staffing necessary to backfill for ENEC security staff attending professional development opportunities.
Develop and implement procedures, and coordinate change management plans with internal and external stakeholders.
Establish necessary records retention processes, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and/or revise security lesson plans and training procedures.
Provide classroom presentation of security materials and assist in the development of course content for computer based training programs.
Establish storage locations, tracking and inventory methods, and employee access requirements.
Develop Implementation plans and procedures that support UAE Information Security / classified materials programs.


Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science Degree
• ten years total job experience
•Prior experience designing or managing nuclear security systems
•Fluent in English
•Competent in Microsoft Office programs
•Ability to develop new programs including writing policies and procedures

Preferred Experience:
•Certified Protection Professional or equivalent certification
•Prior experience with security programs that meet US-NRC requirements
•Prior Military or police experience
•Also fluent in Arabic
Degree Required
Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
