Purpose of Position:

To protect the; interests, business, people, property and assets of TDIC entities through the tactical and operational implementation of proportionate security advice, practices and procedures.

Person Specifications:
Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) and relevant operational qualifications and experience
Minimum 10 years experience within security out of which a minimum of seven years must have been in management/leadership roles
Fluency in written and spoken English
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic
Proficient computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide advice and guidance to TDIC operational entities on an ongoing basis for all matters relating to security.
Compile and maintain due diligence audit, monitoring, review and corrective action programs for TDIC operational entities in accordance with laid down procedures.
Deliver security training programs for TDIC operational entities and third party asset operators – to include best practice in: operational, physical, technical, intelligence, special events and VVIP components of security.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of new or revised legislative and current guidance from relevant authorities and ensure they are adopted by TDIC as appropriate.
Advise, guide and manage security guard force contracts and guard force companies deployed by TDIC to ensure agreed service agreements and scope are delivered.
Seek and deliver best practice security solutions, alongside a creative and flexible approach to security risk management, reflective of development, operational and business needs.
Ensure procedural and training requirements in relation to security are developed, reviewed and kept up to date with company and regulatory requirements.
Ensure technical and physical security installations are fully commissioned with appropriate operator training and regulatory compliance for new opening projects and existing assets
Develop and maintain working relations with government multi-agency authorities as appropriate.
Ensure security projects are delivered within appropriate deadlines, are efficient, measurable and cost effective.
Validate security and incident investigations to determine cause and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence. Gather evidence during investigation process for any potential defense of civil claims or enforcement action.
Engage managers within TDIC entities to promote security as part of their core operational activities and practices
Assist, develop and promote security information and communication systems for TDIC in relation to security and crisis management.
Liaise with relevant departments at planning and operational stage to ensure security risks are managed, reduced or security control measures designed in where appropriate.
Provide support and security overview for major special event functions and VVIP activities as and when required.
Assist in the development of security operational strategies for individual development projects as required.
