Security Manager: Reference SSSMT06
This position will manage the safety and security of all Save the Children staff in oPt, ensuring that all global policies and procedures are systematically applied across the country office. This will include ongoing threat assessment and advising on risk management; the maintenance of appropriate guidelines; and ensuring that field working practices are robust and that all staff are aware of, trained in, and adhere to these policies and procedures.
Job Requirements: • Bachelors Degree in a related field or at least 5-7 years comparable related experience; • Substantial experience in non-profit organisations with int’l humanitarian assistance programs including supervisory and overseas work experience; • Substantial security management experience in international humanitarian, military or police setting. • Advanced level of understanding of various communications technologies, including VHF and HF radio systems, satellite phones, cell phones, etc. • Solid training skills and the ability to develop and implement successful training sessions; • Fluency in English and Arabic
