Role Responsibility:
We are currently looking for an exceptionally versatile and enterprising individual to join G4S in the Czech Republic as the Operations Director - Security to:
Our operations in the Czech Republic currently generate over €45 million from cash solutions, manned security services and technology offerings covering 6 branches and 2 regions. Our guarding operations currently employs over 1400 personnel. The Operations Director will take ownership and manage and grow this business. We currently support clients within the transportation sector, events business, automotive industry and industrial sectors.
Our goal is to grow our Czech Republic offering and build our market presence within Eastern Europe.
To manage the operations of the guarding business and deliver the P&L results and customer service results required. The P&L value currently stands at €12 million.
To continually review and improve profitability, security and management capability throughout the operation of the Business Unit.
Main responsibilities
As 1 of 3 Operations Directors reporting to the country MD and a key member of the Executive team you will lead and drive the operational performance of the Business Unit.
To develop and achieve outstanding quality with all customer relationships and exceed customer expectations.
To drive and inspire the performance and development of the team ensuring that agreed Development Plans and Succession Plans.
To ensure that agreed organisational policies and practices are applied consistently throughout the operation, ensuring that the Business Unit is not exposed to excessive operational risk.
To continually develop customer, competitor and market knowledge and expertise throughout the operation.
To actively build networks and influence the relevant decision makers in Government and Political circles, ensuring that the organisation is visible and recognised in the market.
To ensure G4S standards and compliance and regulations are maintained.
The Ideal Candidate:
Have held a senior level operational management role managing at least 500 personnel ideally in a customer facing - multi site operation
Held a P&L value of at least €3 million.
Managed several large subcontractor organisations - supplying personnel to your services.
Must have had commercial experience working in Eastern Europe.
Security guarding experience would be desirable but not essential
Demonstrable people and customer service skills and ethos.
Minimum Degree Level
Fluent in Czech
