Security Manager - Cairo,Egypt

Qualifications
Reporting to Regional Security Manager, Middle East for this Fortune 100 multinational, this new role will have a particular focus on major markets in Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and continued growth across a number of countries including Iraq, Afghanistan and the Levant region.

Responsibilities
· Planning, organising and managing security programmes and activities to protect employees, proprietary information and physical assets.
· Managing and delivery of emergency planning, crisis management, and risk analysis programmes within region.
· Ensuring compliance with mandated site security programmes specified within the Corporate Security Manual.
· Managing and directing security service providers and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
· Working with service providers, plan for optimum utilisation of personnel and equipment to provide adequate
coverage and capability to detect and respond to security or emergency incidents.
· Acting as the focal point for security operations for internal corporate functions requiring security support. Including support for external events or outsourcing deals.
· Actively participating in decisions affecting new facilities or refurbishment of space to incorporate security programmes and make recommendations for appropriate changes for the protection of people and assets.
· Supporting business travelers within the region

Candidate Profile
· Strong contract/programme/project management skill sets
· Commercial security management and/or law enforcement experience
· English and Arabic: Oral & written.
· University Degree/Diploma in security/risk management discipline.
· Proven skills in security management or contract management environment with multi-site responsibilities. Alternatively strong contract/programme/project management skill sets.
· Must demonstrate cross-border working experience and have acquired a regional network of industry peers, law enforcement, Government agencies, security industry forums, to enhance collection of information to better understand and drive risk management strategies.
· Has knowledge and understanding of people/asset protection programs and the application of risk analysis principles
· Capable to interact with all levels of both internal and external parties such as law enforcement, governmental authorities and customers to discuss/negotiate security requirements.
· Good communication skills essential.
