Job Introduction:
The Cash Solutions Division covers a wide range of services, focused on the transportation, storage and management of cash and valuables on behalf of banks, retailers and other customers.

IT Systems to drive & support service delivery

We are currently looking for an exceptionally versatile and enterprising individual to join G4S as the Operations Director (Security) to:
To manage the operations of the guarding business and deliver the P&L results and customer service results required.
To continually review and improve profitability, security and management capability throughout the operation of the Business Unit.


Role Responsibility:
To lead and drive the operational performance of the Business Unit, in accordance with G4S core values, enabling the Business Unit to achieve business plan objectives.
To contribute to the strategic development of the Business Unit as a leader and key member of the Executive team, providing challenge and support and participating in business decision making.
To develop and achieve outstanding quality and customer service in every Branch, maintaining positive customer relationships and agreed quality and service standards to satisfy customer expectations.
To drive and inspire the performance and development of people, ensuring that agreed Development Plans and Succession Plans are in place to enable individuals to realise their potential and achieve challenging targets.
To ensure that agreed organisational policies and practices are applied consistently throughout the operation, ensuring that the Business Unit is not exposed to excessive operational risk.
To continually develop customer, competitor and market knowledge and expertise throughout the operation, to ensure the Business Unit can gain commercial benefit.
To create an environment of positive and favourable employee relations where change and business decisions can be introduced constructively and consistently.
To actively build networks and influence with relevant decision makers in Government and Political circles, ensuring that the organisation is visible and recognised in the market.


The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum Degree Level
Fluent in English,and local country language
Senior level operational management experience and track record in customer facing multi site operation, ideally in a global/multi national environment.
Would be helpful to have security guarding experience.
Strong people development and customer service skills and ethos.
