We now require a Guard Manager for our operations in Bagdad, Iraq.
Role Responsibility:
The Guard Manager will be responsible for the management, welfare, discipline, and administration of a 24/7 static armed guard team based at a Client premises in Bagdad. Responsibilities to include:
Lead, manage and coordinate the static guard team.
Liaise with the Client, external parties’ i.e. local authorities, as well as G4S Operations.
Ensure all equipment is appropriately allocated, maintained and stored.
Production of daily plans and reports to ensure a professional security service is maintained at all times.
Ensure all safety and security mechanisms, systems, procedures and directives are constantly evaluated and where necessary, upgraded.
Conduct monthly team training, in line with Company training guidelines, to include static guard procedures, weapons, patrols etc.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be considered for this role, applicants MUST demonstrate the following. Applications that do not demonstrate the required skills and experiences will not be considered.
Fluent, or at least conversational, in spoken French and Arabic, and fluent written and spoken English, is essential.
Previous military experience at Sergeant rank, ideally gained with the French Legionnaire.
Demonstrable experience gained from performing a similar role, in a commercial setting.
Experience of static guard procedures, and of managing a static guard team.
Successful candidates will be screened to G4S minimum standards, to include a criminal record check and detailed referencing.
