JOB SUMMARY:Duties include granting access to construction site, inspecting incoming vehicular and pedestrian traffic, monitoring worker activity, safeguarding buildings, equipment, files and classified information. Escort personnel with lower level clearances into and around highly cleared areas and facilities. Monitors secure areas work and activities of Local National (LN’s) workers within the compound facilities area. Escorts have full responsibility for all personnel in their charge. This includes general oversight for performance of work, proper use of tools, and enforcement of safety adherence. Escorts must ALWAYS have their LNs within their line of sight.
KNOWLEDGE:
Construction or general maintenance knowledge / experience. Able to recognize correct performance of job duties by LN's.
MIN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of general construction or maintenance experience or military experience.
Good Verbal communications with ability to communicate clearly using two-way radio Able to remain on feet up to 10hours, climb ladders, use fallprotection equipment and wear protective clothing for observed jobs Consideration will be given to relevant professional experience commensurate with assignment.
