Building and Premises Security Instructor - Middle East

Duty Station: Middle East Position title: Building and Premises Security Instructor
Duration: 2 months, Approx. 2 May – 4 July 2011 Starting Date: ASAP

CTG Global are supporting a UN agency strengthen the capacity of a Middle Eastern Police Force through the provision of train the trainer training for the Police Force’s college Instructors.
General functions:
1) Develop and deliver a train the trainer course in building and premises security that focuses on the instruction techniques that the students will use while assigned as community based police officers to monitor and assess private premise security, commercial building security and police or government facility integrity.
2) The development of the curriculum will focus on building security techniques, building access control;
premises based security assessments, target hardening as appropriate, guard-post positioning, vehicle inspections, and initial emergency response to threats.
3) Develop an assessment tool to determine if the student has demonstrated the required knowledge, skills, abilities and behaviours to a pre-determined standard.
Education, qualifications and experience required
 Former Member of a European Police Force.
 Previous experience in the development and instruction on Police based building security curriculum with extensive knowledge in the field of premise security, building security techniques, access control, security assessments, target hardening, guard post positioning, and vehicle inspections.
 Previous experience in initial emergency responses to threats.
 Train the trainer experience an asset.

Languages
 Spoken and written English fluency is essential. Working knowledge of Arabic an advantage.
