Regional Medic (US), CIVPOL - Iraq

Knowledge & Skills:

Candidates must have an clean background and be able to pass a DoS background check for a No Objection security clearance. Candidates must be able to pass a physical exam, psychological exam, dental screening and drug screening with no chronic conditions requiring periodic evaluations or specialty consultations.

Experience:

U.S. Citizen. Candidates must have 5-7 years experience in the medical field as a Medic and should have experience on deployed contingency operations or similar medical experience. Candidates must have strong clinical skills with a minimum of 2 years experience operating independently with minimal supervision in remote, hostile or austere environments. Prior military medical experience such as Military Special Operations medics i.e.18D, IDC, FMF corpsman, senior medical NCO or equivalent, is preferred but not required. Must be able to interact with U.S. military medical assets. Ideal candidates would also have at least one year of experience in a high threat/ combat environments. Should have experience on deployed contingency operations or similar medical experience. Candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office programs and the ability to maintain and produce routine medical reports and patient census data. Candidates must have the experience and ability to provide medically related class presentations for first responder trauma care.

Education:

Current NREMT-P with BLS/ACLS through contract period. Certifications/licensure must be current with all applicable education/recertification requirements completed.
