Head of Guarding Operations - Tanzania

Role Responsibility:
Ensure high standards of guarding service are maintained in Tanzania
Ensure new assignments are properly surveyed, weaknesses identified and customers advised accordingly.

Put proper cost control strategies in place and monitor progress regularly
Regularly appraise the performance of all subordinates, identify their training needs and have them addressed as per the company policy.

Ensure incidents are properly investigated and the necessary action taken
Maintain close liaison with the police and other government law enforcement agencies and ensure they are involved in investigations where necessary
Co-ordinate guarding debt collection in Tanzania and ensure customers pay for services provided and in time.

Participate in preparation of guarding budget as may be required from time to time
Ensure that all Tanzania branches keep the correct workforce to maximize profits
Prepare and review Guarding business plan in consultation with the country Manager
Ensure all staff working under him comply with the guarding service quality policy
Enforce discipline within the surbonates and recommend disciplinary action in line with human resource policy
Ensure that all contracted guarding customers in Tanzania are covered by a valid/signed contract.
Monitor and audit investigations of all major incidents in Tanzania guarding
Monitor progress on all major customer claims and recommend the most effective settlement means
Maintain a personal liaison top 10 guarding customers in Tanzania and come up with a program of visits on a monthly basis

The Ideal Candidate:

Ideally a minimum of five Years experience in operations at senior level
Should have had line and staff management experience at senior level in a company of at least 1000 employees
The ability to make sound impartial judgments
Must have the personality and stature to gain the respect and confidence of employees, customers and public service including the police
