EOD specialist- Afghanistan

RONCO is seeking experienced qualified Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians with a strong IED background; experience in Iraq and/or Afghanistan and as an instructor in the EOD/IEDD disciplines.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to, instruction to overseas military, law enforcement, and EOD personnel on current trends in:

Suicide Bombings
Explosives and Explosive Effects
Conventional Weapons
Electrical and Electronic Theory
Practical Electronics
IED circuitry and diagnostics
Global Terrorist Threat
Post Blast Scene Procedures
Key Areas of Expertise:

Training and Curriculum Development
Post Blast Incident
IED Design and Construction
Qualifications:

Naval Master Training Certification or similar certification
Recent/relevant IED / CIED Team Leader experience in Iraq, and/or Afghanistan, or other high IED threat areas
Post blast incident instructor or course graduate
Technical knowledge of electronics, electronic components and circuit design
Experience in maintenance and update of training curriculum
Experience providing instruction in technical subjects to diverse audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Computer literate, particularly in WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Detailed knowledge of countering IEDs (defeating the system and focusing on predicting and preventing an IED attack)
Detailed knowledge of training processes to counter IEDs to include operational/tactical and staff/leadership programs
Knowledge of technological means to counter IEDs.
Knowledge and experience in counter terrorist search techniques
Must be willing to deploy overseas for extended periods to remote locations, auster living conditions, and challenging environments
