Position Summary
In support of various future opportunities, CAMRIS International seeks qualified Corrections Advisors and Subject Matter Experts to provide various services including: instruction and training, curriculum development, proposal development and program design, and technical advisement to government agencies around the world. Field positions include providing a broad range of subject matter expertise and technical assistance on corrections assistance issues and may include assessing existing incarceration procedures and facilities, providing areas for improvement to government officials, prison/corrections officials, and criminal justice officials, monitoring and advising local corrections officers, partnering with local officials and/or organizations in developing and conducting assessments, enforcing current correctional rules and regulations, and training and screening candidates for local corrections officer positions.

Minimum Qualifications
Possess a Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university in relevant field. A Master’s degree or PhD is required for instruction or Subject Matter Expert positions.
Combined minimum of eight (8) years of work experience with at least five (5) years of experience in relevant field
Currently employed in the respective lines of work for which you are being considered
Ability to communicate in English (Foreign Service Institute standard level 4 for writing, reading comprehension, speaking for U.S. citizens and level 3 for third country nationals)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle (an International Driving Permit for third country nationals)
Unblemished background. Ability to pass security clearance is a plus or currently hold an active security clearance.
Excellent health and be able to pass requisite physical, medical and psychological tests appropriate to assigned mission/country
Valid U.S. passport (for non – U.S. citizens, valid passport from their country of citizenship)
Negotiating, interpersonal and leadership skills
The ability and willingness to train other individuals in their area of expertise
Must be able to pass a drug test.
