Training & HSE Manager (British Only)

Location: Iraq – Baghdad/Basra

Rotation: 8 Weeks On / 4 Weeks Off

Currently seeking qualified candidates for the Training/HSE Manager position.

Previous experience in a similar role in Iraq is mandatory.

Role Description:
Working under the direction of the Country Director and Director of Operations, the Training Manager will be responsible for delivering Team/Static Guard Training as required by the Client Minimum Security Standard (MSS) and enforcing Quality Control Inspection on the Teams/Static Guards.
Provide training to personnel as directed by the Country Director and Director of Operations.
Overall responsibility of establishment and maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental, Security, and Training activities for Erinys Iraq.

Experience and Knowledge:
* 3 years of experience in a managerial position, preferably in Operations.
* 3 years of Mobile Protection experience in a hostile environment.
* 8 to 10 years of Military, Police, or security experience.
* Level 3 & 4 Hostile Environment CP – SIA or Equivalent.
* First Person on the Scene Level 4 (or equivalent, such as FREC) is required to teach First Aid.
* FPOS-I / FREC Instructor / Accreditor
* Experience/knowledge of security tasks (Mobile and Static Procedures)
* Good knowledge and skills with MS Office and a tracking system.
* Defensive Driver training/Advanced Driving Instruction qualification required (Such as RoSPA).
* Strong interpersonal skills – capable of negotiating effectively.
* Administrative Skills – organizational and reporting skills.
* IT Skills to build course material and to complete general duties.
* Must demonstrate a workable knowledge/ understanding of a Mobile/Static Team operational requirement to remain compliant with the Client MSS’s – especially in Southern Iraq, Basra province Oil Concessions.
* Effective time-management skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* H2S Awareness Instructors Course is desirable
* HSE Offshore Medic (Tier 2 Medic) desirable
* Award in Education & Training – PTLLS or equivalent.
* Professional HSE Qualification essential, NEBOSH Preferred.
* HSE Health & Safety at Work Desire.
