Operations Coordinator - Iraq

Job Location: Basra , Baghdad Iraq

As part of our continued growth and operational development, we’re seeking an experienced, motivated Operations Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and delivery of security operations, operational support and personnel deployments across Iraq from our HQ in Baghdad.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily security operations, personnel deployments and operational support
• Support operational planning, journey management, movement tracking and operational coordination
• Monitor operational reporting and maintain situational awareness across areas of responsibility
• Assist with incident management, investigations and reporting processes
• Liaise with clients, operational supervisors and support departments to ensure effective service
• Maintain operational documentation, records and management reports
• Support risk assessments, operational briefings and contingency planning activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and management systems
• Contribute to the continual improvement of operational processes and service delivery standards

Minimum Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within security operations, military, law enforcement, security risk management or a related operational environment
• Previous experience in an operations coordination, operations room, control room, security operations centre or supervisory role
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience producing professional reports, operational documentation and client-facing correspondence
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to operate effectively within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work and reside in Baghdad, Iraq

Qualifications & Experience
• Previous experience supporting security operations within Iraq, the Middle East or other complex operating environments
• SIA licence, recognised security qualification or equivalent security management certification
• FREC 3 or equivalent medical qualification
• Experience supporting static guarding, mobile security operations, journey management and security operations within a regulated and standards-led environment
• Experience working within ISO 18788, ISO 9001, ANSI/ASIS PSC.1 or similar management systems
• Previous experience supporting international commercial clients, NGOs, diplomatic programmes or private security operations in complex environments
