We are seeking highly qualified Close Protection Officers (CPOs) for upcoming deployments in Central African Republic (CAR) and Burundi. Candidates must have strong operational experience in international, high‑risk, or conflict environments, with proven close protection expertise.
Key Requirements:
EU nationality (mandatory)
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Minimum 5 years in a security‑related role within the armed forces or police
Ideally held a rank of NATO OR4 or police equivalent
Minimum 3 years (within the last 5 years) providing close protection in high‑risk / hostile / conflict environments (Burundi & CAR experience is an asset)
Strong personnel management experience
In-depth knowledge of security environments in high‑risk countries (knowledge of Burundi or CAR is an advantage)
Close Protection qualification (mandatory)
Firearms certification + excellent firearms handling skills
First aid / emergency care training (e.g., FPOS, FREC, resuscitation, trauma care)
Ability to use multiple communication systems (radio, digital comms, GPS-based monitoring)
Fully IT‑literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Valid EU category B driver’s license
Certification for armoured vehicle driving (advantage)
Proven defensive driving experience
Experience operating armoured vehicles preferred
