Job Description
An armed Personal Security Detail (PSD) or Executive Security Detail (ESD) Guard provides close-range physical protection for individuals and VIPs travelling throughout Kuwait. As part of a security team, provides armed escort and prevents harm to designated individuals.

An armed Personal Security Detail (PSD) or Executive Security Detail (ESD) Guard provides close-range physical protection for individuals and VIPs travelling throughout Kuwait. As part of a security team, provides armed escort and prevents harm to designated individuals.
Responsibilities:
The armed PSD Guard is required to pass an annual Physical Ability Test per AR 190-56, as well as qualifying annually with government-approved weapon(s).
The armed PSD Guard shall be aware of, and abide by, all Army and contractor general orders, as well as Kuwaiti law.
The armed PSD Guard shall be properly trained in advanced combat trauma/first aid equivalent to Combat Lifesaver/NREMT EMR.
The armed PSD Guard shall demonstrate a fluency in English equivalency of a level 2+ based on the Interagency Language Roundtable.QualificationsU.S. Citizen - must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
Must have four years of honorable experience in Military Occupational Specialty or Armed Force Specialty Codes designated as combat arms, Military Police, Special Operations Forces, U.S. law enforcement Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and/or Federal Law Enforcement Officials with PSD experience.
Must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military).
Prior experience in a contingency area a plus.
