Job Summary:
The Executive Protection Team Lead position is a demanding role, and the right candidate will be in the
field as well as a leader to a dynamic Executive Protection team. This position is responsible for a wide
variety of tasks that ensure the success of the physical protection of the Principal and their family. This
position has a high level of client interaction and a multitude of estate management-related tasks.

Duties:
Executive Protection Team Lead duties for this detail include, but are not limited to:Team scheduling (managing rotations, call outs, PTO, and other company needs).
Training/educating new and current agents in company policy and other SOPs.
Maintaining compliance for the team with expected trainings throughout the year.
Ensuring all reports are accurate, formatted properly and reported to the appropriate parties.
Tracking required statistics daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Working through employee relations issues and reaching out to HR for assistance and guidance when necessary.
Problem solving issues that come up between vendors, EP, Staff and Principals.
Communicate and coordinate between multiple levels of management and other outside vendors to ensure staffing.
Interview prospective EP agents, and assist in their onboarding process.
Be available to the EP agent, Principals and other management via phone, text, and email, as needed whether you are on or off rotation.
Review/approve/submit timesheets via online payroll platform on a bi-weekly basis.
Willing to work shifts as needed when there are holes in the schedule or other last-minute requests of the principal.
Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.
Maintain a knowledge of baseline principal, property and neighborhood activities.
Monitor property and area activities and conditions via closed-circuit television camera system and physical perimeter checks.
Monitor traditional and social media for potential threats.
Control access to properties and maintenance of security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.
Screen and track mail and deliveries.
Monitor the following:Weather and natural disasters
Traffic
Public safety incidents and trends
Neighborhood watch programs
Local and national current events
Coordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasks.
Complete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested by principals.
Ensures 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeep.
Operate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable laws.
Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance for all equipment (i.e., vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.).
Domestic and International travel (about 30% of the job).
Must possess the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.
Must be a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps (Google Drive, Word, Excel & Power Point).
Must keep a professional appearance, have good personal hygiene.
Excellent communicator with the ability to be personable, successfully interact with clients, Principals, leadership team, peers, vendors and neighbors.

Licensing Requirements:
Ability to obtain a CA BSIS Guard Card before start date
CA BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit w/ 9 mm endorsement
A Valid United States Driver’s License.
Current Passport with more than six months expiration.
CPR/First Aid/AED certification for Adults, Children, and Infants.
Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree
Certification from a recognized EP school (this can be supplemented with 2+ years of relevant industry experience)
Graduation from a certified driving school is also preferrable, but this too can be supplemented based on experience
Military or Law enforcement experience is a plus
Proficient in the use of social media collection tools in support of protective intelligence
Training in defensive tactics, counter surveillance/surveillance detection, and covert protection experience
Medical training a plus
Regularly active in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports, etc.
California CCW permit

5 years of Management/Leadership experience working with diverse teams of people.

Physical Requirements:Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary.
Prolonged periods sitting of 5+ hours at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
Prolonged periods of standing on your feet without a break 4-5+ hours.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Must be able to lift, drag a human up to 200lbs or more, if necessary.
Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, crawl.
Being able to respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, evacuations.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $150,000-$155,000 annually
